Pre-K · SFUSD Early Education
Little learners, big beginning.
Mission Bay School opens with Pre-K — so your child's very first classroom can be right here in the neighborhood, on a brand-new campus, in a school community they can grow with all the way through 5th grade.
- A first classroom, close to home
- Subsidized and tuition-based spots
- One application through SFUSD
Openings are filled from SFUSD's eligibility and waiting lists — a complete application is your place in line, so starting early genuinely helps.
Pre-K has its own SFUSD Early Education application and timeline, separate from TK/Kindergarten — and Pre-K enrollment doesn't carry into TK automatically. Questions: eedenrollment@sfusd.edu · (415) 241-6085
Applying is simple
Have these ready
- Parent or guardian photo ID
- Proof of your California address, dated within the last 45 days
- Proof of birth for your child — and for every child under 18 in your home
Apply online in ParentVUE, or on paper at an Early Education Enrollment Office. Once SFUSD reviews your application, you're placed on the eligibility list (subsidized) or the waiting list (tuition-based), and a representative contacts you when there's a possible opening.
