Join Our PTA
Become a member of the Mission Bay School PTA. Fill out the form below (about two minutes), then pay dues on Givebutter to finish. Dues are $5.75 per adult for the 2026-27 school year.

Required checklist
Before you volunteer
All parent and guardian volunteers must complete these steps before volunteering.
- Complete Mandated Reporter Training and save your certificate (about 60 minutes). Start the training ↗
- Complete the Mission Bay Parent/Guardian Volunteer Agreement. Open the agreement ↗
- Complete the SFUSD Confidentiality Agreement. Open the agreement ↗
- Prepare a copy of your photo ID.
Printed copies of both agreements are also available in the Mission Bay School main office.
Lunch volunteer protocols
- Enter through the Owens Street entrance, sign in at the main office, and wear a visitor sticker.
- Report directly to the cafeteria and check in with a noon monitor or staff member.
- Support all students during lunch, not only your child, and follow staff directions.
- Report student conflicts to school staff or noon monitors and allow staff to handle them.
- Plan for 25 minutes of lunch, 5 minutes of cleanup, and 30 minutes of recess.
- Make sure tables are cleaned and cleared before students leave for recess.

A new school begins with a building. A truly special school is built by its community.
Mission Bay School opened its doors in August 2026 as SFUSD's first new public school in 20 years. As a new school, our PTA-supported programs, resources, and traditions are being built from the ground up.
Every contribution matters. One-time gifts help meet immediate needs, while monthly gifts provide dependable support as our school grows. Families, neighbors, local businesses, and everyone who believes in public education are invited to help us build something extraordinary.
